DCA designer Alex Woogmaster and his team are re-imagining The Venetian’s 500,000 square foot Convention Center.

Our client Alex Woogmaster, with his team at Woogmaster Studio, has the Herculean task of updating The Venetian’s Convention Center. At 500,000 square feet, this conference center space demands both an updated vision and attention to every detail. Alex’s pedigreed career as a gaming hospitality design executive caught the attention of The Venetian’s management team when planning this project, and this is one of several major hospitality interior design contracts won by the 4-year-old Woogmaster Studio.

The Venetian Resort’s 1999 build was comprised of Venetian design inspiration ranging from the Byzantine to the Palladian eras, and the Convention Center has been a very popular venue for high-end conferences and expositions. The Woogmaster Studio project is removing the property’s outdated Rococo details, highlighting more austere Neoclassical elements, and introducing modern touches to make the space function for today’s uses and expectations. The renewed vision for the convention complex at The Venetian highlights the resort’s iconic past, while ushering in change suitable for the 21st Century. A highly innovative and luxurious Executive Center will include a Living Room, Study, Bistro, Speakeasy, Petite Salon, and multiple Meeting Rooms.

The planned re-opening of the Convention Center at The Venetian is scheduled for June, and will be a sight to behold. In the meantime, please enjoy the Woogmaster Studio renderings of the project’s planned transformation below.
