Timothy Corrigan ~ Design Icon

February 9, 2017
There was a lot of buzz at the recent Las Vegas Market while checking out the newest collections and admiring the amazing genius within the interior design industry. A shining example is our very own Timothy Corrigan, the 2017 Design Icon Honoree.

While the Winter Market & Designer Center offers one of the most comprehensive furniture, lighting, and home décor markets in the West, it also recognizes and honors leading designers in the industry with its annual Design Icon Award.  This year, the prestigious honor was fixed on the celebrated designer Timothy Corrigan, whose award-winning interiors and product designs are recognized internationally.

Timothy Corrigan has offices in Paris and Los Angeles, and his clients include royalty, Hollywood celebrities and corporate leaders. He embraces a global design philosophy that combines timeless European elegance with classic California comfort. Timothy has made significant contributions to the design industry throughout his career; this prestigious award commemorates a lifetime of achievement.

He has been hailed in Architectural Digest as “Today’s Tastemaker” and has been named to most of the design world’s best designer lists, including the AD100, Robb Report Top 40 and the Luxe Gold List. Timothy has been regularly featured on television and in prestigious publications such as Elle Décor, The New York Times, Town & Country, Veranda, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Luxe Interiors + Design, Vanity Fair, Vogue and The Wall Street Journal.

His book An Invitation to Château du Grand-Lucé is a lavishly illustrated monograph that highlights Timothy’s design philosophy and brings to life the fundamental principles at the heart of his work. Published by Rizzoli, the tome chronicles the restoration that he conducted of his 18th century French château in the Loire Valley.

Timothy has designed fabrics, trims, furniture, and floor coverings for Schumacher and Patterson Flynn Martin.  He also has two tabletop collections for Royal Limoges. New collections for 2017 and 2018 will be plumbing fixtures for THG Paris, passementerie for Samuel & Sons, and wallpaper for Fromental.

We look forward to seeing these new collections this coming year, and the continued minting of gorgeous interiors! Congratulations, Timothy!
