Roger Thomas, the master of evoca-tecture, discusses his art.
As an exceptionally busy year draws to a close, Roger Thomas sat down in front of the cameras to reflect on his ideas about design and how he approaches his work. During 2015 he developed new collections for OW Hospitality, Moore & Giles, Studio A Home, Samuel & Sons, and S. Harris — all the while flying back and forth to China to ready the 1,700-room Wynn Cotai Palace for its opening next year.
The video explores Roger’s signature concept of evoca-tecture: How he uses drama, mystery, surprise and other theatrical and cinematic elements to make interiors that are indelible in the memories of everyone who experiences them.
