Kenneth Gregg

Kenneth Gregg’s photography graces the walls of some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and restaurants. The painterly style of his photography, using a minimum of digital manipulation, creates sensitive and contemplative images well-suited for both hospitality and residential decor. Kenneth has been taking pictures since he was a 10 year-old in Santa Barbara, Calif., when his parents gave him a box Brownie camera. Within a year, he had built a darkroom in the home basement and was developing and printing his own black and white images. He became photo editor of his high school newspaper and yearbook. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, he traveled internationally as the catalog photographer for The North Face outdoor equipment company for ten years.

After leaving The North Face, he turned his artistic endeavors toward pictorial photography of old California, self-publishing books on Santa Barbara and on the Santa Ynez Valley. Numerous corporations have purchased Kenneth’s artwork for their collections. His work has also been used extensively for promotional brochures, calendars, greeting cards, book covers, and award-winning wine labels. Design Commerce Agency is pleased to be working with Kenneth in his relationship with Astek.
